Guilherme Siqueira says he had a ‘concrete offer’ from Juventus before they opted for Alex Sandro.
The Bianconeri were believed to be very close to the Atletico Madrid left-back, but surprised many with the capture of Porto’s Alex Sandro.
“Atletico never put pressure on me one way or another, so I’m happy to stay,” Siqueira told Mundo Deportivo.

“For many years I’ve had offers to leave which haven’t materialised, I’m used to it now. I knew that even though I had a lot of good offers, the door was always open at Atletico, so I’d be happy either way.
“Juve? That was the most concrete offer I had during the summer. I don’t know what happened. I don’t think it was down to me or Atletico, I think it was Juve.
“Everything was done, and in the end Juventus opted for another player.
“As you know, every club always has two or three options for a role.”
