Milan legend Andriy Shevchenko warns “it won’t be easy” for Napoli against Dynamo Kiev tonight.

The Partenopei get their Champions League campaign underway in Ukraine tonight, and arguably Dynamo’s greatest-ever striker warns they face a tough task.

“They’re coming off the back of two titles and in the last Champions League they finished second in Chelsea’s group, going to win at Porto,” Shevchenko, now Ukraine Coach, told Corriere dello Sport.

“They’re coming off the back of two titles and in the last Champions League they finished second in Chelsea’s group, going to win at Porto,” Shevchenko, now Ukraine Coach, told Corriere dello Sport.

“Then they went out in the Last 16 against Manchester City. Their strength is [Andriy] Yarmolenko, he always takes on his man one-on-one, he’s tall and powerful.

“Combine that with the group and the fans in Kiev and it won’t be easy to play.”

In two spells with Dynamo Kiev, Shevchenko made 249 appearances and scored 124 goals.

The former striker also managed 175 goals in 322 Milan games, winning a Scudetto and the Champions League.
