Podolski is likely to get his first start, having made his debut in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Juventus.

There are numerous absentees, as Mateo Kovacic, Andrea Ranocchia and Juan Jesus are all suspended with Yuto Nagatomo away at the Asian Cup.

Notably, Daniel Osvaldo is left out following his attempts to attack teammate Mauro Icardi on the field during the Juventus game.

He then swore at Coach Mancini and the row reportedly continued in the locker room, so he has been put on the market.
