Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare insists “we have no bids” from Roma for Riyad Mahrez.
It has been reported that the Giallorossi have a deal in place with the Algerian winger, but they haven’t yet met the Foxes’ asking price.
“Riyad has stated his position really clearly,” Shakespeare told reporters from the training camp in Hong Kong, referring to Mahrez’s declaration in May that he wants to leave.

“Mine is simple: while he is here, while we have no bids – we haven’t had any officially – he has to be committed to the club.
“In his two weeks [pre-season] he’s been totally committed. Outgoings are inevitable but until you get bids there’s no decision to make.”
