The Argentine completely bossed the midfield, never stopped running throughout and was always ready to take the ball off the opposition and start another attack. It was his perfect ball that set up 'Pitu' Barrientos to score the winner. Blistering.

Scored two instinctive and absolute screamers from long distance, the first measured at over a 100km/h. The French 19-year-old was only playing due to injuries, but, with this showing, the one-man tornado’s position should be nailed on. Incandescence.

It’s as if Wesley Sneijder of two seasons ago has been reincarnated as the Colombian caused problems throughout and it was his marvellous assist for Palacio that grabbed a point. Also worried with several long distance attempts. Luminosity.
