Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio will be keen to maintain their second-place status with a win over a Serie B bound Cremonese.

The match between the Biancocelesti and the Grigiorossi kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Lazio’s four league outings in May have shown their strengths and weaknesses, with the team picking up key wins over Udinese and Sassuolo but dropping points in a 2-2 draw with Lecce and a 2-0 loss to Milan. Despite their highs and lows, the team still sit in the runners’ up spot behind Scudetto winners Napoli.

Lazio cannot count on Adam Marusic and Danilo Cataldi, both of whom are sidelined with injuries. Marcos Antonio is also in doubt due to an ankle issue.

Cremonese found some joy in the Coppa Italia but have looked poor in Serie A this season, only managing to pick up four wins. The Lombardy outfit’s relegation to Serie B has already been confirmed, giving them little to play for in their final outings of the campaign.

The Grigiorossi are without the injured Cyriel Dessers and Marco Benassi. Vlad Chiriches is also in doubt due to a muscle complaint.

Probable line-ups for Lazio vs Cremonese
