Check out today’s latest transfer updates from Serie A, including Teun Koopmeiners’ public desire to leave Atalanta in the summer and the problems returning to Milan in the summer.

Koopmeiners was honest when speaking to De Telegraaf, revealing that he’s asked Atalanta to let him leave in the summer, opening up about the interest from Juventus and multiple clubs in the Premier League. Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are among the English clubs linked with a move for the Dutch midfielder, but Atalanta want at least €60m.

DAZN presenter Diletta Leotta admitted she’s keen to see fiancé Loris Karius, who’ll leave Newcastle on a free transfer in the summer, head to Serie A and suggested either Monza or Como, should the latter achieve promotion to the top flight.

Milan loanees Divock Origi and Fode Ballo-Toure have both failed to impress in the Premier League at Nottingham Forest and Fulham respectively. Both will return to the Rossoneri in the summer, forcing the club to find new homes for the pair.

In preparation for Koopmeiners’ imminent sale, Atalanta have identified Birmingham City midfielder Jordan James as their primary target to replace the Dutchman. The 19-year-old has a €10m asking price, but la Dea are hopeful this figure will drop in the summer.

Alvaro Morata confirmed the interest of Milan, Inter, Roma and Juventus last summer and explained that he decided to move forward with Atletico Madrid after chatting with his coach Diego Simeone. He refused to rule out a possible return to Serie A in the future, however.
