A fight for some redemption sees Stefano Pioli’s wounded Milan take on a languishing Juventus in a tense Serie A battle.

The clash between the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

Juventus have only managed to win two of their last 12 Serie A matches, a run that has left fans infuriated and calling for blood in Turin. The pressure is endlessly mounting on Massimiliano Allegri and he is now widely expected to be dismissed at the end of the season.

The Old Lady are unlikely to deploy Fabio Miretti as he works off a foot injury and banned duo Nicolo Fagioli and Paul Pogba are also unavailable.

Pioli has been unable to shake off his doubters this season and Milan’s recent Coppa Italia quarter-final exit to Roma has seemingly pushed the club to find a replacement, deciding to try a new project after five years.

The Rossoneri cannot count on Pierre Kalulu, Tommaso Pobega and Luka Jovic, who are all out injured. Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori and Davide Calabria are all unavailable through suspensions.

When these two teams met back in October, Juventus picked up a 1-0 win over Milan after a 63rd minute goal from Manuel Locatelli.

Probable line-ups for Juventus vs Milan

Juventus (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Vlahovic, Chiesa.

Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Musah, Gabbia, Thiaw, Florenzi, Bennacer, Reijnders, Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao, Giroud.
