Lazio and Milan are both in action in the Europa League tonight, as are Arsenal and Chelsea.

While Italy has closed the gap this season though, Serie A sides will have to heavily outperform the Premier League.

Next season the 2014-15 season, where Juventus reached the Champions League final and Napoli and Fiorentina reached the Europa League semis, will drop off the five-year average.

That will see a 5.429 swing to the Premier League.

Neither Serie A nor the Premier League has any hope of catching Spain in the near future, with La Liga sitting on 90.426 points.

The top four sides in the coefficient are automatically given four Champions League group stage places, with Germany currently in fourth, over 10 points ahead of France.
