Sergio Oliveira assures Roma have prepared for the greatest Bodo/Glimt strength, namely their ‘very high press.’
The first leg of the Europa Conference League quarter-final kicks off in Norway at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).
This is a reunion for the clubs, as they already met during the group phase with a shock 6-1 Bodo home win in October and 2-2 draw at the Stadio Olimpico.
Of course, that was before Sergio Oliveira joined in the January transfer window.
“Bodo/Glimt have a very high press, but we worked on this in training and we are ready,” the Portuguese midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.
“We all want to win. This is an important match, it’s a knockout phase of the tournament and a difficult test.”
Oliveira is technically only on loan from FC Porto, but Roma are expected to buy him outright.
“I can certainly improve. I arrived two months ago and am happy here, I want to keep getting better day after day.”
