Although Roma do have a game in hand, there is genuine concern that a crisis is just around the corner after back-to-back defeats in Serie A.

This morning's La Repubblica even claims that Claudio Ranieri's job is on the line with Vincenzo Montella being touted as a prospective caretaker manager.

Sensi visited Roma's training ground in Trigoria on Monday along with Bruno Conti to discuss what is going wrong with the team's veteran players.

Roma are expected to end the current financial year with a loss of around €30m, something Sensi reiterated during yesterday's meeting.

Champions League qualification is fundamental to Roma especially considering the timetable set out by the club's prospective new American owners.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the players reassured Sensi.

She then apparently replied that if Roma lose to Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday, the team would go in ritiro.
