Former Roma President Rosella Sensi gives her view on what has gone wrong with Zdenek Zeman’s side.

The Giallorossi first hired Zeman 13 years ago when her father, Franco Sensi, was in charge.

“Signing Zeman this summer was certainly a courageous choice by the club and I have to compliment the directors,” she told Stadio Sprint.

“However, it must be said that some of the players they brought in, especially the youngsters, are not exactly suited to his style of football.

“I have a lot of faith in Zeman and the team, even after last night’s ugly defeat to Juventus.”

That 4-1 drubbing has raised questions over how the Giallorossi should progress this season.

“In some games it might be opportune to use a slightly more defensive Roma, seeing as we have an extraordinary forward like Francesco Totti there.”
