It is only a matter of time before Clarence Seedorf proves his worth as a Coach, according to former Inter star Roberto Carlos.

The Brazilian, who himself is currently on the bench at Turkish outfit Sivasspor, believes that the new Milan boss has what it takes to be successful.

“Seedorf will become a good Coach,” Carlos has told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He has always been a leader on the pitch, he’s always wanted to teach everyone everything.

“Kaka told me Clarence understands the players well but I knew that anyway, we lived in the same house for a year-and-a-half!”

The World Cup winner also revealed the lighter side to Seedorf’s character.

“Every time he was in the bathroom it would be for three hours doing his hair with a horrible gel! It was unbearable!

“He used to call some of the neighbours at random and if they answered, he said he had pizza to deliver.

“We all have a childish side.”

Carlos also commented about his brief spell at Milan’s San Siro rivals Inter.

“Roy Hodgson wanted me to play as a midfielder and I wanted to be a full-back.

“But it’s not his fault that I only stayed for one year.”
