Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli has admitted he is still unsure whether he will remain in his post beyond this summer’s World Cup.

The Azzurri tactician’s future has been under increasing speculation and he says that whilst a decision has yet to be made, he intends for one to be reached by the summer.

“I will go to Brazil with a decision having been made,” Prandelli told Tuttosport.

“I miss the daily work on the pitch that you get with club sides although I am perfectly comfortable with this role.

“I’ll reflect and we’ll see. I’m torn.”

“Conte for Coach in the future? Yes, because he certainly has the ability.

“It depends on his choices though, I wish him well as I do others. It’s a very enriching job.”

Prandelli was then asked what he will do when he does eventually leave the Azzurri hot seat.

“We’ll see. At the right time I want to go to a club with a long term project that wants to have me at the centre of it. Just like it was in Florence.”
