Debates have ignited on social media between Milan and Inter fans over whether or not Rade Krunic punched Alessandro Bastoni in the Rossoneri’s 2-0 Champions League semi-final loss.
In the 76th minute of the match, Krunic was marking Bastoni on an Inter corner and seemed to strike him in the ribs. A VAR check was carried out to review the incident and the player was cleared of any wrongdoing, but fans have not been convinced.
Had Krunic been judged to have punched Bastoni, he would’ve been shown a red card, something that would’ve made Milan’s evening turn from bad to worse.
