Roma winger Gervinho has suffered a hamstring injury, so is likely to miss the rest of the season.

The Ivorian went off injured during the Giallorossi’s defeat to Milan at the weekend, and the club has now confirmed that he is suffering from a hamstring injury.

“Gervinho underwent tests this morning which revealed he has a first degree strain to his hamstring,” the club announced on its official website.

“The Ivorian has already begun treatment.”
