There are reports Patrik Schick has agreed a move to RB Leipzig, so Roma can bring in Nikola Kalinic from Atletico Madrid.

It has been suggested for several days now that Roma already had a deal in place for Kalinic, a loan with option to buy for €8m.

The only hold-up was the need to release Schick first and, according to Tuttomercatoweb, that is finally happening.

It’s claimed that Schick has agreed personal terms for his loan with option to buy towards RB Leipzig.

It’s claimed that Schick has agreed personal terms for his loan with option to buy towards RB Leipzig.

Once that move has been completed, Roma can pick up former Fiorentina and Milan striker Kalinic, who will become the understudy to Edin Dzeko.

Schick cost €14m plus performance-related bonuses when arriving from Sampdoria in August 2017, but never really made his mark.

The 23-year-old was visibly lacking in confidence, scoring only eight goals with three assists in 58 games for the Giallorossi.
