According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Saudi clubs are tempting Paulo Dybala away from Roma, with the Giallorossi worried about losing their star given his €12m clause.

La Joya has two years left in his contract at the Stadio Olimpico, but any foreign club can secure his signature in the summer by paying €12m. Dybala also has a clause valid for Serie A clubs, but that one’s worth €20m and Roma can cancel it by offering Dybala a new contract with a higher salary.

According to Tuesday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (page 13), Saudi clubs are closely monitoring Dybala, although no formal approach has yet been made.

The report claims that Al-Ahli, who have recently signed Kalidou Kouliably from Chelsea and are in talks with Gennaro Gattuso to become their new coach, are considering paying Dybala’s clause. A big-money offer would tempt the Argentinean striker who will turn 30 in November.

Roma clearly don’t want to part ways with their striker in the summer also considering that they are already looking for a replacement for the injured Tammy Abraham who will remain out of action until 2024 with a severe knee injury.
