Coach Eusebio Di Francesco says Sassuolo “continue to dream” of European football.

The Neroverdi are currently seventh in Serie A, just one point behind Milan in sixth.

If the Rossoneri lose the Coppa Italia final to Juventus, sixth will grant entry to the Europa League, and the Emilian side want to be in position to take advantage if the Old Lady lift the cup.

“We continue to dream,” Di Francesco said in his Press conference ahead of the Genoa game.

“We continue to dream,” Di Francesco said in his Press conference ahead of the Genoa game.

“It would be very nice to achieve it. We’ll play one game at a time trying to win them all, starting with the one on Saturday.

“It will be difficult against a team that are in a good patch of form, have great physicality and are really well-Coached.”

Genoa have, to all intents and purposes, secured Serie A safety already, could they ease-up tomorrow?

“They’ll definitely be hungry, we’re playing in Serie A and we’re paid to be professionals and do our best.

“Whatever the result is on Saturday, I demand the best effort and utmost commitment at all times. I’m sure Genoa will come here to play and take home three points.”
