Sassuolo and Juventus Women have decided to donate some of the revenue from ticket sales to the little girl who is the only survivor of a family tragedy.

The city of Sassuolo was badly shaken by the horrific events of this week.

Nabil Dhahri had already been under a restraining order when he killed his former partner Elisa Mulas, mother-in-law Simonetta Fontana, their two children Sami and Ismaele.

He then killed himself.

The only survivor was Elisa’s 11-year-old daughter from an earlier relationship, who was at school when the attack happened.

Sassuolo have announced they will donate €1 from every ticket or season ticket sold for their next home game against Cagliari.

The entire gate from the Sassuolo Women vs. Juventus Women game will be donated to the fund.

Sassuolo will then double the figure that is raised with those initiatives and send them to the orphaned girl.

A solidarity fund has been set up for her, with all football fans urged to participate.
