Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali confirms that they are ‘working out the final details’ of Giacomo Raspadori’s sale to Napoli in a deal that will ultimately be worth €35m.

There had already been reports in multiple sources today including Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and Tuttomercatoweb that the two clubs had achieved a breakthrough today.

“We are progressing well,” Carnevali told RAI Sport.

“We are working out the final details with Napoli.”

The deal is believed to be a loan for €5m with obligation to buy at the end of the season for a further €25m.

There are also another €5m in bonuses that were worked out today.

That will include €2m based on goals and assists that he provides in the Partenopei jersey, plus up to another €3m based on every season Napoli qualify for the Champions League.

They are hoping to get the final details sorted out by tomorrow, so Raspadori can have his medical on Friday and perhaps even make his debut for Luciano Spalletti’s side this weekend.
