La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest Eden Hazard, encouraged by the praise from his Belgium teammate Dries Mertens, is pushing particularly hard for this arrival.

However, while Sarri is taking his ‘Sarriball’ style of football to the Premier League, he won’t be accompanied by his coaching staff.

Assistant manager Francesco Calzona, collaborator Simone Bonomi and fitness coach Sinatti are remaining at Napoli and will work with new boss Ancelotti.

According to Tuttosport, the staff became increasingly irritated with Sarri after he signed a four-year contract with Napoli, whereas they were only given short-term deals.

Instead, Sarri could attempt a reunion with his old Empoli assistant manager Giovanni Martusciello, who is currently working for Inter.

He could also be joined on the Chelsea bench by club legend Gianfranco Zola.
