Juventus are on the verge of a seventh consecutive Scudetto after breaking four points clear with three rounds to go.

In his Press conference, Sarri was asked about the controversial decisions in last night’s 3-2 win away to Inter, but tried not to get sucked into the leading question on supporters who were “disgusted and no longer believe in good faith” of referees.

“We have to focus on the field and I don’t want to think about anything else,” replied the Coach.

“The only hope is that in life, everything has to end sometime! Sooner or later, the domination will end.

“I must say, seeing the Premier League have this constant alternation of winners every year, it grows the love for teams and makes everyone have hope of success.

“It’s a different situation here in Italy. The risk is that we’ll lose many fans, because they cheer on teams that will never win and they know that too well.

“If we impoverish the whole system, then the rich will be impoverished too…”

Mentioning the Premier League will likely fuel existing speculation that Sarri is going to leave Napoli for Chelsea, Arsenal or even Tottenham Hotspur.

Sarri was asked again to make a statement on the refereeing in Inter-Juventus, but once more resisted.

Today we lost due to a bad performance and that’s what I have to talk about. Otherwise it’d be a really futile attempt to find an excuse, but this is not the time.

“I do want to thank the fans, as they have had an extraordinary attitude throughout. We apologise, but usually we don’t put in this sort of performance.

“We are not machines, there can be a setback or a dip at times. It is now our duty to make up for it next week.”
