“Over the last five months, we’ve conducted ourselves in an extraordinary manner,” Sarri told Corriere dello Sport.
“That’s despite the many games, some of which were at the very highest level and were therefore very draining.

“But Juventus and Roma can say this too.
“Can we win the Scudetto next year? I don’t know how to predict the future, so I don’t know.
“If we play like we did in the first half of the season, no. If we’re the team of the second half of the season, yes. That’s what the numbers say.
“There’s a gap between us and some of the other clubs, but the lads have done well to bridge it.”
