Maurizio Sarri was furious with “difficult to motivate” Chelsea after a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal, but insisted he knows nothing about Gonzalo Higuain’s arrival.
The former Napoli tactician was so angry following this evening’s match that he insisted on speaking via an interpreter in his Press conference.
There was no need for one when he met with Sky Sport Italia.
“We were up against a team that was more determined than us and that is worrying, because it is not the first time it has happened,” said Sarri.

“We were up against a team that was more determined than us and that is worrying, because it is not the first time it has happened,” said Sarri.
“Our team is extremely difficult to motivate and after we lose motivation, we also lose our way of playing football. It is a delicate moment psychologically after an initial phase in which the players seemed to understand very quickly what I was asking for.
“We scored regularly at the start, now we are struggling.”
With this in mind, Chelsea are believed to be on the verge of bringing in Higuain from Juventus, once Milan have found a replacement.
“I don’t want to get involved, as I had a meeting with the club 15 days ago and I am sure they are doing everything possible to sign the players we can get in a difficult situation like the January transfer window.
“I don’t want to be thinking about it every day, especially as I find it really boring. Higuain was one of the players on the list, but I don’t know how the situation is evolving. There’s no point asking me.”
