Juventus fans booed their ex-coach Maurizio Sarri, but Paulo Dybala hugged the Lazio tactician before the kick-off at the Allianz Stadium.

Dybala will leave the club at the end of his contract in June and both he and Giorgio Chiellini are playing their last match in Turin tonight. Sarri was the last coach to win the Scudetto at the club but didn’t receive a warm welcome from his ex supporters, who booed him when lineups were announced before the beginning of the match.

However, a few minutes later, Dybala greeted the 63-year-old, running toward Lazio’s bench and embracing his former boss. Dybala scored 17 goals and delivered 14 assists in 46 appearances under Sarri at Juventus, becoming the Serie A’s MVP for 2019-20.

Juventus won their ninth Scudetto under Sarri but the former Napoli and Chelsea coach was sacked at the end of the season following the elimination in the Champions League Round of 16 at the hands of Porto.

  1. saying he didnt suit juventus after only 1 season is a joke. juventus know what they got when they hired him, yet juventus board didnt give him time for him to build his team. sarri compromise lots, when they winning scudetto, he more pragmatic because he know the pressure to winning on big club, yet juventus betray him.

i truly believe he gonna successful if he given more time and buy players that suit his playing style. they bought arthur who requested by sarri, but arthur never played for sarri. this example how messed up juventus transfer strategy for couple year.
