Bologna midfielder Nicola Sansone says the club is only thinking of a win against his old club Parma when Serie A resumes after the break for international duty.

After a bright start to the season, the Gialloblu have lost three of their last four games, and sit 15th in the table.

Sansone, giving an interview to Il Resto del Carlino newspaper, says they're only thinking about taking all three points from Parma at the Stadio Dall'Ara.

"We are going through a difficult moment, we have produced a lot of good performances, but not collected that many points. The absence of (Sinisa) Mihailjovic weighs on us, but it must not become an excuse. If we give the maximum and it's not enough, it means we have to give more. We only think of a victory against Parma."

Sansone grew up in Bayern Munich's youth system, before joining Parma, so what do the Ducali mean to the forward?

"My time at Parma was my first experience in Serie A. Important goals scored against Juventus, Inter, Napoli and Milan, and also against Bologna, now that I come to think of it."

Sansone has scored two goals in 12 Serie A games this season.
