Nicola Sansone is likely to be one of the anti-vax players in the Bologna squad following a social media post.

Serie A have recently made it mandatory for all players to be vaccinated if they want to play, joining France’s Ligue 1 as they look to limit the spread of COVID. A number of players across most teams are out after testing positive and some matches could be at risk due to the situation.

As seen in a story on Sansone’s Instagram page, the 30-year-old Italian winger is unhappy with the current rules and is seemingly one of the Bologna players who is against the vaccines, meaning that he’s likely to remain sidelined unless he decides to take the jab.

Sansone posted a story on Instagram saying: “We live in a sh*tty world where human rights don’t count for sh*t!!! There is no more freedom of choice!!!”

The 30-year-old Italian winger, who is contracted to Bologna until 2023, has made 15 Serie A appearances this season, for a total of 499 minutes. In that time he has provided four assists.

One Roma first team player is also an anti-vaxxer, reports Corriere dello Sport and Corriere della Sera, meaning that he will also be banned from playing unless he takes the vaccine.
