Bayern Munich President Uli Hoeness suggests Renato Sanches can leave if he wants to, in another nod towards Milan.

Vincenzo Montella confirmed on Monday that the signing of a midfielder was a priority for Milan, amidst mounting speculation the player in question would be Sanches.

“If a player thinks that it’s better for him to go somewhere else, on loan or permanently, the club will take care of it,” Hoeness told Spox.

Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is also on record as stating his club would prefer to loan out the Portuguese teenager or only sell him for a fee in the region of €48m.
