Boulaye Dia scored his third goal in four Serie A games, while Sam Lammers and Inter loanee Martin Satriano found the net for the first time at Empoli in a 2-2 draw at the Stadio Arechi.

The Argentinean striker put the Tuscans ahead in the first half with a header into the far post, assisted by Scotland international Liam Henderson.

Pasquale Mazzocchi also netted his first goal in Italy’s top flight eight minutes later. The 27-year-old levelled the score single-handedly by dribbling past three opponents on the left, entering the penalty area and finding the net with a surgical left-foot finish.

Boulaye Dia put Salernitana ahead in the second half with his third goal in four Serie A games, steering into the net a cross from Tonny Vilhena.

But Sam Lammers had the last word with his first goal for Empoli. The Dutchman won a challenge at the edge of the box and was lucky that Federico Fazio was on the ball’s way so the ex-Roma defender deflected his shot past Luigi Sepe, who could only stare at the ball crossing the line.

Salernitana now have six points in five games, while Empoli have earned four points so far with four successive draws.
