Fabio Capello will be summoned before Russia’s Minister of Sport following the national side’s poor start to Euro 2016 qualifying.
The former Milan and Juventus Coach took over the Russian national side in 2012, becoming the highest paid manager in international football on a reported €8.3m per year.
However, a 1-1 draw at home to Moldova on Sunday night has led some to call for Capello’s dismissal.

However, a 1-1 draw at home to Moldova on Sunday night has led some to call for Capello’s dismissal.
Whilst Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko has insisted Russia will still qualify for Euro 2016, the Gazzetta dello Sport reports Capello will face a meeting with him when he returns to Russia next week.
“I’m sure the boys will get through the group and qualify for Euro 2016, but I wasn’t pleased with the result or the game,” Mutko has told Interfax.
“This is not at all convincing. It's bad. The fans aren’t pleased and nor am I. I missed Sunday’s Formula 1 race [in Sochi] to attend the match.
“In the stands there [at the Grand Prix], there were 55,000 people cheering for our Russian driver Danil Kvyat, I want people to have this kind of love for football again.”
Capello’s current deal with the Russian team takes him up to the 2018 World Cup, which the country will host.
