“The lads are all disappointed with the situation in the table, but the only way to overcome that is to step on to the field and give our all.
“So many children grew up dreaming of playing against Juventus in Turin. Many of our players are in their debut top flight season and I hope that going to the Juventus Stadium as protagonists will give them the confidence that they belong at this level.
“The squad has had a growth process over the last few weeks, even if the results didn’t arrive. We need a spark, but we have to make it ourselves. If we put in decent performances and don’t get points, it means there’s something we still need to work on.
“Juve are also going through a transitional year, but with a squad made up of champions who will be truly determined to beat us.
“Aside from individual talents, the strengths of Juventus are their concentration and determination, as their success was built on those.”
Emanuele Giaccherini is unable to recover in time to face his former club, but Saphir Taider also misses out due to a bout of tonsillitis.
Godfred Donsah, Franco Zuculini and Emil Krafth are also absent.
