What happens now for the Juventus striker?

Andrea Pirlo won’t rely on CR7 for the next two games at least. The first one comes in the weekend away at Crotone while the second one is in Kyiv against Dynamo in the Old Lady’s Champions League debut this season.

Juventus hope Ronaldo will only skip these two games although the quarantine period in Portugal is of 14 days.

The Technical-Scientific Committee in Italy, however, decided yesterday that the quarantine period in the Stivale can be reduced from 14 to ten days and that only one negative swab is enough to recover from the virus.

So, if Ronaldo has one negative swab after the ten days of quarantine he would be able to return to action against Verona on October 25 and Barcelona on October 28, otherwise he’ll have to wait until he gets one negative test.

Certainly, the Portugal International will skip the next Serie A game and Juventus’ seasonal debut in Champions League.
