Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo turns 34 on a day that sees other Serie A stars past and present celebrate their birthdates.

Ronaldo celebrates his first birthday as a Juve player, having arrived from Real Madrid in a €112m deal last summer – the highest ever paid by an Italian club and the highest fee ever paid for a player over 30 years old.

The five-time Ballon d’Or has capped his debut season in Turin so far with a more than respectable 19 goals in 30 appearances and a Supercoppa.

Prior to joining the Bianconeri, he won three Premier Leagues, two Spanish titles and five Champions Leagues with Manchester United and Real Madrid, scoring a combined 568 goals for both clubs.

He also captained Portugal to European Championship glory in 2016 and is the highest European international goalscorer of all time, netting 85 times for his country.

The No 7 is the first player to win four European Golden Shoes and holds the records for most official goals scored in Europe's top-five Leagues (412), the Champions League (121), European Championship (nine).

However, February 5 also sees Inter defender Stefan de Vrij turn 27, Atalanta’s Andrea Masiello 33 and Bologna forward Rodrigo Palacio 37.

As for ex-Serie A personnel, former Juve attacker Carlos Tevez – who won two Scudetti with the club – turns 35 and Sven Goran Eriksson – who led Lazio to their last Serie A title in 1999-00 – is 70 today.

Last but not least, Milan legend and former Italy CT Cesare Maldini – also father of the great Paolo – would have turned 87.
