Milan have confirmed that Alessio Romagnoli suffered a thigh injury in the draw with Sassuolo on Sunday night, and will be out for at least two weeks.
The centre-back limped off after just five minutes of the 1-1 draw, with Mateo Musacchio replacing him.
“AC Milan announces that Alessio Romagnoli suffered an injury to the biceps femoris of his left thigh during Milan-Sassuolo on Sunday,” a statement on the Rossoneri’s website confirmed.
“The player will be subjected to further medical tests in around two weeks.”
