Roma starlet Nicola Zalewski thanks José Mourinho after receiving the Golden Boy Web Award in Turin.
The 20-year-old was named among the best starlets in Europe in the award organised by the Italian paper Tuttosport.
The ceremony was held in Turin on Monday night.
“I want to thank Mourinho for what he does for the entire team and me,” said Zalewski.
“We feel at ease with him and I always try to do the best for this team.”
The Giallorossi were paired with RB Salzburg in the Europa League play-off after losing the Rome derby 1-0 on Sunday.
“It was a decisive game decided by an incident in their [Lazio‘s] favour. We have a chance to do well in the next games. The Europa League is difficult after every game.”
