Tonight’s 1-1 draw with Milan was another disappointing performance, as a strong opening 10 minutes gave way to a dismal second half.

“It was as if a light went off,” confessed Garcia on Sport Mediaset.

Roma have won just one of their last 10 competitive games and twice fumbled a lead this week to draw with Chievo and Milan.

The ultras have turned against Garcia and he was loudly jeered both before and after tonight’s game at the Stadio Olimpico.

However, the reports coming out of the Giallorossi camp are that the club will continue to back Garcia.

It was rumoured Luciano Spalletti had agreed a return to Roma, but the club is reticent to offer him a long contract.

Other options include ex-Inter boss Walter Mazzarri, World Cup winner Marcello Lippi and even Fabio Capello.
