Roma and Manchester City will reportedly use tomorrow’s friendly in Melbourne to negotiate for Edin Dzeko.

The Giallorossi are interested in the Bosnian international, but are unwilling to meet the English Premier League side’s €30m asking price.

However, the Manchester Evening News is reporting that officials from both clubs will meet tomorrow in Australia, ahead of the teams meeting in a friendly.

The Giallorossi are believed to be offering €17m, while City may be willing to lower their asking price to €28m.

Clearly there is still a big gulf in the teams’ respective valuations, and the Lupi may have to raise their offer, with Arsenal reportedly also interested.

City would prefer not to sell to a domestic rival, but are unlikely to accept significantly less from Roma rather than sell to the Gunners.
