Roma are likely to loan Maxime Gonalons out to West Ham or Everton after Sevilla decided not to buy him outright.

The French midfielder is now 30 years old, but struggled so much with injuries during his loan season at Sevilla that he won’t be making that move permanent.

He managed only 13 competitive appearances for Sevilla, scoring one goal.

There is no room for him at Roma and he is under contract until June 2021, so a new transfer towards the Premier League is on the cards.
