Roma will reward the 166 fans who attended the 6-1 loss against Bodo/Glimt in October with tickets for the Conference League Final.

The Giallorossi qualified for the first European Final in 31 years by beating Leicester City 1-0 in the semi-final second leg at the Stadio Olimpico last night. They will meet Feyenoord in Tirana on May 25 and could win their first trophy since 2008.

The atmosphere at the Stadio Olimpico was thrilling last night and fans provided that extra push that allowed Roma to book their place in the Final. It hasn’t been a straightforward path for the Giallorossi who won their group stage despite suffering one of the most humiliating defeats in their history with a 6-1 loss away at Bodo/Glimt in October.

There were 166 Roma fans attending the game that night and Roma have rewarded all of them with a ticket for the Final in Tirana.

“The club has decided to reward the 166 subscribers present at the match on 21/10/2021 in the away sector of the Aspmyra Stadion,” a club statement read.

“For these fans, the club will guarantee the ticket. The list of those entitled was drawn up based on sales reports, provided by FK Bodo/Glimt.

“Therefore, the unique code will be sent by May 7 to the email address used to purchase the ticket on the Bodo ticketing portal.”

That night, Roma fans were so disappointed that they even refused to collect shirts from captain Lorenzo Pellegrini and his teammates at the end of the match.
