Roma are reportedly on the verge of a deal with Premier League side Bournemouth, handing over Matias Vina on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the negotiations are at a very advanced stage and should be closed within the next 48 hours.

Vina is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans and dropped down the pecking order, making only seven appearances this season between Serie A and the Europa League.

He was a big investment from Palmeiras in the summer of 2021 for €13m and the Brazilians will also receive a percentage of the sell-on fee.

It is believed that Bournemouth have agreed a loan move for the Uruguay international at a cost of €1m for the six months, with option to buy at the end of the season.

Vina had also been approached by Spanish side Real Betis Balompié.
