Roma are ready to lock down Franck Kessie for €25m, leaving him on loan at Atalanta, beating Juventus, Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to multiple reports including the Corriere dello Sport and Mediaset Premium, the deal is practically done and he’ll join the Giallorossi from July.

Payments won’t really begin until June 2018, allowing them to spread the cost, with young defender Riccardo Marchizza handed over as part of the package.

The Ivory Coast international turned 20 last month and this is his first Serie A season, but has already made a huge impact.

He scored seven goals with two assists in 17 games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
