Napoil could finalise their deal for Kostas Manolas tomorrow as it emerges Amadou Diawara has agreed personal terms with Roma.

Contrary to an earlier report, Gianluca Di Marzio claims Diawara’s camp shook hands on a five-year contract with Roma worth €2-2.2m a season plus bonuses.

Di Marzio adds Diawara will join the Giallorossi for €18m plus bonuses, in what is a disguised part-exchange deal that lets them put down the sale of Manolas for €34m plus bonuses before June 30.

The midfielder’s agreement with the Lupi paves the way for the Partenopei to iron out the remaining details of the Greece international’s contract, which should see him earn €3.5m per year plus €1m in bonuses.

That should happen during a meeting between Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli and Manolas’ agent Mino Raiola on Friday.
