Roma and Italy wing-back Leonardo Spinazzola is reportedly the latest player to be targeted by the Saudi clubs, specifically Al-Ahli.

A series of huge investments this summer are bringing players still in their prime towards the Saudi Pro League and today Chelsea officially sold former Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly to Al-Hilal for circa €23m.

According to the latest reports in Italy, Al-Ahli have set their sights on Spinazzola and Roma would be willing to sell for the right price, especially as they already have his ready-made replacement in Nicola Zalewski.

The 30-year-old was one of the stars of the EURO 2020 tournament before it was cut short for him by an Achilles tendon tear.

He recovered to make 40 competitive appearances for Roma this season, scoring two goals and providing six assists for his teammates.

Spinazzola also has 23 senior caps for Italy and his contract at the Stadio Olimpico runs to June 2024.
