Roma are reportedly keeping a close eye on Manchester City starlet Manu Garcia.

According to Calciomercato.com, Roma sporting director Monchi has been impressed by Manu’s performances for Dutch side NAC Breda, where he has played on loan since January 2017.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder helped NAC back into the Eredivisie last season and has played a key role in keeping them afloat, notably scoring a fine solo effort in February.

Manu [pictured, left] has been likened to City teammate and fellow Spaniard David Silva, while his contract with the Premier League leaders does not expire until 2020.

However, the imminent arrival of Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk is likely to see him plunge further down Pep Guardiola’s midfield pecking order.
