Roma have reportedly sounded out Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian as a possible replacement for Emerson Palmieri.
According to Calciomercato.com, despite Monchi affirming he had held no talks with Juventus for Emerson, Roma could be tempted to make a sizeable profit on a player they paid just €4.5m for.
Furthermore, the Giallorossi would look to bring in Darmian, who has failed to establish himself in United’s defence since arriving from Torino two years ago.
