Fiorentina defender Davide Astori expects tomorrow’s Roma game to be “a good advert for Italian football”.
The centre-back also played for the Giallorossi, spending last season on loan in the capital before joining the Viola this summer.
“Friday will definitely be a very important game in terms of third place,” Astori acknowledged in an interview with AS Roma Match Program.
“We’re two teams in good form, it’ll be a very good game. Roma are a very strong team with champions in every position.

“It’s enough to name [Francesco] Totti, [Edin] Dzeko, [Miralem] Panic, Maicon… “As I said before, we’re two teams in really good form, I’m sure it’ll be a good spectacle and an advert for Italian football.
“Roma was an important experience for me. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find consistency, but it remains an important part of my career.
“A prediction? I never make predictions! I hope it’s a good game and in the end Fiorentina win…”
