Roma are now reportedly the favourites for Valencia forward Rodrigo after Napoli saw their €40m offer rejected.
Mundo Deportivo had suggested Napoli made a proposal worth in the region of €40m this week, but the club wanted closer to €70m.
Now CalcioNapoli24 claim Roma have dived in with a much stronger bid and became the favourites for the 28-year-old.
Rodrigo scored 15 goals with 10 assists in 51 competitive games for Valencia this season.
