Today’s edition of the Sunday Mirror claims the Giallorossi are stepping up to intercept negotiations.

Inter have never disguised their attempts to bring Jovetic back to Serie A, where he’d be reunited with Coach Roberto Mancini.

Juventus had been interested, but appear to have turned their focus elsewhere.

The English paper suggests Roma are ready to take the Montenegro international on loan with option to buy for €11m.

If needs be, they could even try to sign him immediately for €14m.

However, Manchester City continue to maintain they’ll only let Jo-Jo go for €21m, having paid Fiorentina €30m for him two years ago.
