After abandoning their pursuit of Riyad Mahrez, Roma are reportedly considering Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado.

The Giallorossi are looking to sign a right-winger after the departure of Mohamed Salah, but baulked at Leicester’s demands for Mahrez.

This morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport believes they have now turned their attentions to Cuadrado, but the deal could prove difficult for a number of reasons.

Coach Max Allegri considers the Colombian a key part of his squad, and would be reluctant to lose him.

Coach Max Allegri considers the Colombian a key part of his squad, and would be reluctant to lose him.

However, the arrival of Keita Baldé Diao could change that, as the Bianconeri have already signed wingers Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi, so if the Lazio man arrives too Cuadrado could fall down the pecking order.

For his part though, the player would prefer to remain in Turin and he wouldn’t come cheap for the Lupi.

Juve know that their Scudetto rivals bid €35m for Mahrez, so they’d want at least €30m for Cuadrado.
